Minister Yadav and Egyptian Ambassador discuss climate action

September 12, Kathmandu: The Minister for Forests and Environment, Pradeep Yadav, and the Ambassador of Egypt to Nepal, Noha Hamdy Ahmed Elgebaly, met on Monday at the Ministry in Singha Durbar.

The meeting focused on Nepal’s participation in the 27th session of the Conference of Parties (COP 27) to the UN Climate Change Conference 2022 (UNFCCC) and other climate-related issues.

COP 27 is taking place in Sharm El Sheikh of Egypt on coming November 7-18.

On the occasion, Ambassador Elgebaly urged Minister Yadav to take part in the Conference.

In response, the Minister said a high-ranking team from Nepal would participate in the Conference.
