Parliamentary probe committee finds illegal bidding in package number 4 and 5 of Kathmandu-Tarai Fast Track Project

Kathmandu: The Development and Technology Committee of the House of Representatives has confirmed irregularities while bidding package number 4 and 5 of the Kathmandu Terai Fast Track project.

A probe committee formed under the Development committee submitted a report confirming irregularities in bidding.

After receiving the report the parliamentary committee directed the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, and Defense Ministry to take legal action against the persons involved in the binding including the concerned project chief.

The committee’s meeting held at Sinhadarbar on Sunday also presented approved amendments to the Bill designed to amend and integrate laws related to the Nepal Medical Council and the report of the Legislation Management Committee.
