PM Deuba commits full support for sportspersons

September 4, Kathmandu: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has said Nepal should produce talented players so that they can compete in the international stage with high confidence.

Speaking at a program organized on the 59th anniversary of the National Sports Council (NSC) in Kathmandu on Saturday, the PM said Nepali sportspersons had kept the nation’s dignity high in recent days and called for further progress on this issue.

Saying that further sharpness in the performance of Nepali players was present need, PM Deuba assured of full support on behalf of the government for such steps, expecting that the great success of Nepali sportspersons would further increase Nepal’s dignity.
