British Red Cross provides sanitation materials for being used during emergencies

August 9, Kathmandu: The British Red Cross has provided sanitary materials to the Nepal Red Cross Society for use during emergencies for those in need.
The Chief of the British Red Cross in Nepal, Kiriti Ray, handed over the materials to the Executive Director of Nepal Red Cross, Umesh Prasad Dhakal, on Monday.
“The materials are for being used for sanitary needs during emergencies like natural disasters,” Ray said
He also said that collective efforts were imperative to disaster response and preparedness.
“The British Red Cross has been continuously assisting Nepal Red Cross in building community-level disaster resilience,” Ray shared.
Similarly, Executive Director Dhakal expressed gratitude to Ray for the continued assistance.
He informed that the sanitary materials would be sent to the people in the disaster-hit areas.
