Government to provide free treatment to acid attack victims  

Kathmandu: The government has made a provision of offering free treatment services to the victims of acid attacks.

Joint Spokesperson at the Ministry of Health and Population Dr. Samir Kumar Adhikari informs that the free treatment service to the survivors of acid attacks will be available at Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital in Maharajganj, Bir Hospital, Patan Hospital, and Kirtipur Hospital.

Joint Spokesperson Dr Adhikari further says an arrangement has been made so that the victims of acid attacks can also take free emergency service at any of the health institutions across the country.

The government has also endorsed the Procedures for Treatment of Acid-attack Victims 2078 BS.
