Visiting US Assistant Secretary of State Donald Lu pays courtesy calls on PM Deuba and Foreign Affairs Minister Khadka
July 29, Kathmandu: The visiting US Assistant Secretary of State, Donald Lu, paid a courtesy call on PM Sher Bahadur Deuba at Baluwatar on Friday.

Confirming the meeting with US Assistant Secretary Lu via Tweeter Handle, PM said, on the occasion, they discussed the matters of mutual cooperation.
Thanking the USA for continued support in Nepal’s development endeavour, PM Deuba expressed the hope of deepening cooperation between Nepal and the USA in the day to come as well.
The PM further says during the meeting he discussed various matters of Nepal-US cooperation during 75 years of bilateral relations and people-to-people relations between Nepal and the USA.
Likewise, US Assistant Secretary of state Lu also held a bilateral meeting with Foreign Affairs Minister Dr Narayan Khadka.

The Foreign Affairs Ministry said during the meeting held at the Ministry, they discussed various areas of engagement including development cooperation, economic support, food security, and COVID-19 vaccines.
US Assistant Secretary of State Lu who arrived in Kathmandu on Thursday returned home on Friday.
