US President Biden and Chinese President Xi hold telephone conversation

July 29, Kathmandu: US President Joe Biden and Chinese President Xi Jinping on Thursday held a telephonic conversation to discuss contemporary issues.

In the phone call that lasted for more than two hours, Chinese President Xi expressed his dissatisfaction over the rumoured plan for US House of Representatives Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s visit to Taiwan.

However, the US State Department has said Speaker Pelosi has not announced any plan to travel to Taiwan.
