Newly appointed Ambassadors take oath of office

July 28, Kathmandu: Newly appointed Nepali Ambassadors to various countries on Wednesday took the oath of office and secrecy before President Bidya Devi Bhandari at a special ceremony held at the President’s Office, Maharajganj.

Those taking the oath included Ambassador for Japan Dr Durga Bahadur Subedi , Ambassador for the Republic of South Africa Dan Bahadur Tamang , Ambassador for Spain Dr Sharmila Parajuli (Dhakal) , Ambassador for Russian Federation Milanraj Tuladhar , and Ambassador for Denmark Prof Dr Ram Swarth Raya.

Foreign Minister Dr Narayan Khadka and other high-ranking officials of the Government of Nepal were also present on the occasion.
