564 additional Covid-19 cases recorded in Nepal

Kathmandu: The Ministry of Health and Population has reported 5 hundred and 64 additional cases of Covid 19 in Nepal in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry, the cases were confirmed while testing 4 thousand 4 hundred and 54 samples.

The total number of active cases now stands at 3 thousand 9 hundred and 29 in the country.

Meantime, 2 hundred and 2 people recovered from the virus infection today. The Health ministry also recorded a corona-related death in the past 24 hours.

Meanwhile, speaking at the press briefing on Wednesday, the Joint-secretary of the Health Ministry, Dr. Samir Kumar Adhikari said Nepal had not recorded any cases of Monkeypox infection so far.

He, however, said the ministry had been preparing to tackle the infection.
