Government’s attention to making foreign employment dignified and systematic

Kathmandu: In today’s meeting of the National Assembly, the lawmakers drew the attention of the government saying that there has been no change in the situation where Nepali youths have to travel abroad and do risky work due to a lack of proper employment opportunities in the country.
In the meeting, lawmaker Prakash Pantha said that the youths who went abroad in search of employment could not get the same facilities and arrangements and asked why this had happened.
Stating that people have gone abroad not out of interest but out of compulsion, he said that the government and government bodies should not discriminate.
Similarly, Lawmaker Bhairav Sundar Shrestha said that people’s lives have been affected due to floods and landslides in various places of Jajarkot due to incessant rains in recent days.
He said that the joint cooperation of the government, opposition, and all concerned parties is necessary for the solution to the economic crisis in the country.
