Supplies Ministry to lead market monitoring to curb price hike
Kathmandu: The government is expanding the marking monitoring across the country to curb artificial price-hike.
Addressing a press briefing at the Ministry on Wednesday, Industries, Commerce and Supply Minister Dilendra Prasad Badu said the government has decided to mobilize all the state apparatus for market monitoring.
Minister Badu further said as the prices of consumer goods increased due to the rise in the price of petroleum products, the government reduce the fuel price.
He also said the government had written the subnational governments and subordinate bodies to appoint a focal person for market monitoring and curbing prices.
