Man swept away by rivulet dies in Tanahu

Tanahun: A person, who was swept away by Bamtang rivulet at Shuklagandaki municipality-10 in Tanahu district on Friday night, was found dead this morning.

The deceased has been identified as Yam Bahadur BK of Kukhure Khola of Shuklagandaki-10 in the district, according to the Area Police Office, Bel Chautara. BK was swept away by the swollen Bamtang rivulet while he was returning home.

The dead body was retrieved some 700 metres below the place he got swept away, informed police inspector Bhojraj Pandey. —
