Province 1 government presenting policies and programmes today

Biratnagar: The province 1 government is presenting policies and programmes for the coming fiscal year 2022/23 at 2:00 pm today.

This is the last budget session of the tenure of the provincial government after the formation of the provincial assembly.

After theoretical discussion on the policies and programmes, the province 1 government would unveil the budget for the coming fiscal year 2022/23 on June 15, according to the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Planning of province 1.

Secretary at the Ministry, Suman Dahal, said that the province 1 government is going to bring a budget of around Rs 32 billion for the coming fiscal year.

The government is preparing the budget for the coming fiscal year focusing on the need and desires of the people, he added.
