World Environment Day Marked

Kathmandu: World Environment Day has also been marked in Nepal by organizing various programs.

The Day was observed today across the globe calling for action to protect the planet, and raise awareness about the environment and biodiversity protection.

This year the world environment day was marked with the theme “Only One Earth” focusing on living sustainably in harmony with nature.

On the occasion, President Bidhya Bhandari has planted saplings of various types of fruits on the premises of the Presidential office in Sheetal Niwas.
