Home Minister Khand directs security agencies to ensure robust security during election

Saptari: Home Minister Bal Krishna Khand has directed security agencies to help organise the May 13 local election in a fair and impartial way as the government has shouldered the responsibility to this effect.

At a gathering of Nepali Congress cadres on Thursday at Rajbiraj in Saptari district, minister Khand, also the NC leader, urged all political parties to participate in the poll in a cordial way.

Claiming that changes in the country would be accelerated following the election, he urged people to vote for the NC for safeguarding and strengthening democracy.
