Indian PM Modi to visit Lumbini on Buddha Jayanti

May 5, Kathmandu: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has invited the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, to visit Nepal on Buddha Jayanti, the birth anniversary of Lord Buddha.

Accordingly, Indian Prime Minister Modi is scheduled to visit Lumbini on May 16.

PM Deuba and his Indian counterpart are set to address the special programme to be held at Lumbini to mark Buddha Purnima.
