Ruling alliance meeting today to discuss seat-sharing

Kathmandu: A meeting of the ruling coalition is being held today to divide the metropolitan and sub-metropolitan constituencies in the local level election to be held on the 13th of May.
Minister for Communications and Information Technology Gyanendra Bahadur Karki has said that an agreement was reached at a meeting of the coalition held at the PM’s residence in Baluwatar, yesterday. However, no agreement has been reached between the ruling parties regarding the sub-metropolis.
It is said that the Nepali Congress has reached an agreement to field its candidate in three of the six metropolitan cities, the CPN-Maoist Center, the CPN-Unified Socialist Party and the Janata Samajbadi Party in one metropolitan city.
