President Bhandari approves mobilization of army for upcoming local-level election purposes

Kathmandu: President Bidya Devi Bhandari has approved the mobilization of the army for the purpose of the upcoming local-level election.

Spokesperson of the Office of President, Sagar Acharya said the army mobilization was approved in order to hold the local level election in a free, fair, and impartial manner.

The army mobilization has been approved as per the recommendation of the National Security Council, Council of Ministers and the Prime Minister.
