PM Deuba stresses investment in productive sector to increase export and reduce trade deficit

Kathmandu: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has stressed the need for making investments in the productive sector to increase export capacity and reduce the trade deficit.

Inaugurating a dry port constructed at Chhovar in Kathmandu today, Prime Minister Deuba said the government had prioritized the construction of dry ports in different parts of the country to ease the import and export of goods.

Prime Minister Deuba Inaugurated the dry port on Tuesday by letting three containers that arrived from Birganj enter the port.

The prime minister also committed to promoting domestic goods in the international market encouraging industrial development for creating employment opportunities.
