Four children die in motorcycle accident

March 29, Janakpur: Four children died and one was injured after a motorcycle met with an accident at Barkurwa of Sabaila Municipality-12 in Dhanusha district late on Monday night.

Five people were travelling by motorcycle (Ja 6 Pa 6739) at the time of the accident that occurred at 8:30 pm. Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) and Spokesperson of the District Police Office, Dhanusha, Jitendra Kumar Basnet said four children from Sabaila Municipality-2 died in the accident that happened after the motorcycle lost control.

The deceased is Rahul Yadav, 15, Laxmi Yadav, 12, Bikas Yadav, 12, and Sumit Yadav, 14, DSP Basnet confirmed. Seriously injured in the accident, they died in the Provincial Hospital, Janakpur.

Police said 19-year-old Surendra Yadav is receiving treatment in the Provincial Hospital. DSP Banset said the reasons for the accident is not ascertained.
