Jazeera Airways to make its first commercial flight at Gautam Buddha International Airport

Kathmandu: Jazeera Airways of Kuwait is to make its first commercial flight at Gautam Buddha International Airport.

The Airways has filed an application at the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) in order to conduct regular flights from May 22 coinciding with the birth anniversary of Lord Gautam Buddha.

Deputy Director-General of (CAAN) Dev Chandra Lal Karna, shared that the airways would operate Kuwait-Bhairahawa-Kuwait direct flight on daily basis.

The airways has now been operating the regular flight at Tribhuvan International Airport.

Deputy Director-General Karna added the Nepal Airlines Corporation would make a test flight at Gautam Buddha Airport from April 14.

The airport would be open for commercial international flights from April 20.
