Time to end politics of hatred: NC General Secretary Thapa

March 5, Kathmandu: Nepali Congress General Secretary Gagan Thapa has said the politics of hatred must end. Hatred towards any country, region, community, sect weakens the nation-building, he stressed.

General Secretary Thapa said it during the concluding session of the Janakpur Literature Festival on Saturday. He shared about the plan to broaden the party base by increasing members to it.

Thapa also shared that State could provide budget to the political parties based on their votes for the election campaign in order to make the election respected.

He expressed worry over hefty spending in election campaigning, which must be corrected.

Similarly, youths could play an important role to ensure political change.

National leadership now should go to youths, he pointed out on the occasion.
