We will not allow Nepali land to be used against neighbouring countries (audio report)

February 28, Kathmandu: The Government of Nepal (GoN) has extended gratitude to all those who supported the ratification of the US grant assistance project MCC from the parliament.

A meeting of the Council of Ministers on Monday thanked one and all for creating an environment conducive for MCC to be ratified by the House of Representatives (HoR) of the federal parliament. 

The Prime Minister’s Press Chief Govinda Pariyar said the cabinet meeting thanked all the parties represented in the government, coalition partners, main opposition party and all other political parties, the Speaker and MPs.

Furthermore, the government has thanked all Nepali sisters and brothers, civil society, media, intellectuals, and industrialists for their support and goodwill in this process.

The cabinet meeting also stated that the government was committed not to allow Nepali landto be used against neigbhouring countries India and China and others as per the spirit of Nepal’s foreign policy.

Similarly, the meeting has extended gratitude to neighbouring countries, development partners, and regional and international agencies for their vital support in Nepal’s socioeconomic development.
