155 new cases of coronavirus in 24 hours

Kathmandu: As many as 155 new cases of coronavirus were recorded in the past 24 hours in the country. The Ministry of Health and Population updated that two persons succumbed to the contagion in the same period.

The new infection was founded after the test on 5,152 persons. Similarly, 540 persons got rid of coronavirus infection, with the total recovery reaching 955,998.

The number of COVID-19 fatalities has reached 11,934. The fatality rate at present is 1.2 per cent.

Meanwhile, 129,119 persons were vaccinated against coronavirus in the last 24 hours. The number of active infections stands at 8,839 in Nepal.

Ninety-two persons are receiving treatment at ICU and 14 on ventilator support.
