Arrest warrant issued against MP Baniya

Banke: An arrest warrant has been issued against CPN UML House of Representatives Member Mohan Baniya.

The 57 seven-year-old MP representing Mugu district has been accused of raping a lady from Jumla.

A teacher from Jumla had filed a case against former minister and MP Baniya in Banke district court on the 7^th of February accusing him that he had raped her on February 2.

Banke District Police DSP Madhusudan Neupane said since the court had issued an arrest warrant, MP Baniya would be arrested soon.
