Suketar airport resumes operation
Sukatar: Suketar Airport has resumed its operations with an improvement in the weather. The airport has remained shut for the last two weeks due to heavy snowfall and unfavourable weather conditions.
Lokendra Limbu, Chief of National Airlines Corporation, Taplejung, shared that the flights are being operated as per the previous schedule with an improvement in weather conditions.
He stated that the NAC aircraft flew from Kathmandu to Taplejung with 14 passengers and from Taplejung to Kathmandu with 17 passengers.
Since January 1, NAC has been operating three flights a week through the airport on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
