Government is committed to abolishing leprosy: Health Minister Khatiwada

Kathmandu: Health Minister Birod Khatiwada has said the government is committed to abolishing cronic deceases like leprosy.

Addressing a program organized at the Health Ministry on Sunday on the occasion the 69^th Word Leprosy Day, Minister Katiwada said the government was also putting efforts to eradicate other diseases including rabies, malaria andelephantiasis.

The minister also added that the regular vaccination drives against other diseases were underway despite Covid pandemic.
