High-Level Mechanism of ruling alliance recommends government to hold local level election by mid-June

Kathmandu: The high-Level Mechanism of the ruling alliance has recommended the government to hold the local level election by mid-June.

After the meeting held at Baluwatar today, Communication and Information Technology Minister Gyanendra Bahadur Karki said the meeting recommended the government amend the election-related laws if necessary to ensure timely election.

The meeting was attended by Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba and top leaders of the five political parties
