EC informs preparations are all set to conduct NA elections

Kathmandu: The Election Commission has informed that preparations are all set to conduct the National Assembly Election.

The National Assembly Election will be held on Wednesday from 9 am to 3 pm for 19 vacant posts.

The Commission informed it had directed 8 voting places and 14 voting centers to cast ballot.

There are altogether 2 thousand and 25 voters from 7 provinces.

The term of 19 National Assembly members is expiring coming March 4.  Among 19, eight are of CPN UML, four of CPN (Unified Socialist), four of Maoist Centre, and three of Nepali Congress.

Currently, nine political parties are in the election competition.
