Probe committee concludes Batas Organization encroached land on premises of Narayanhiti Palace Museum without permission from government

Kathmandu: A probe committee has found that the Batas Organization Private Limited encroached the land on the premises of Narayanhiti Palace Museum without permission from the government.

Organizing a press conference on Monday, the probe committee formed under the coordination of Culture Ministry Joint-Secretary Hom Prasad Luitel concluded that the Museum authority also did not take action against the private company during the encroachment.

The committee has suspected undue connection between the Batas group and the Museum authority in the case.

Receiving the report of the probe committee, Minister for Culture, Tourims and Civil Avaition Prem Bahadur Ale vowed to implement the report and take action against the involved parties in connection to the case.
