CDOs of Kathmandu Valley discuss increasing Covid cases and measures to curb infections

Kathmandu: Chief District Officers of the Kathmandu Valley have discussed the increasing cases of Covid-19 and measures to curb the infections.

Chief District Officer of Lalitpur Ghanashyam Upadhyaya said a meeting of the Chief District Officers of the Valley held on Sunday decided to expand the health protocol to contain the infections and continue the vaccination drive.

He, however, informed that they did not discuss the matter related to imposing lockdown for the time being.

Chief District Officer Upadhyaya said the Kathmandu Valley administration would take steps to contain the increasing Covid-19 cases as per the direction of the Covid-19 Crisis Management Centre.
