Radio Nepal launches English news portal and upgraded corporate site

June 15, Kathmandu: Radio Nepal on Tuesday launched an exclusively English news portal and an upgraded English version of its corporate site.

The Radio Broadcasting Service Development Committee, which governs Radio Nepal, has stated that the English versions of the news portal and the corporate site have been launched to reach wider audiences with news, programs, and organizational information.

The Committee’s corporate site www.radionepal.gov.np has been upgraded with two new versions in Nepali and English respectively. 

Designed in a new format and style, the corporate site provides institutional details, archives, and up-to-date information about Radio Nepal. 

Similarly, the news portal www.onlineradionepal.gov.np now has an exclusively English version for readers of the English language.

Executive Director (ED) Buddhi Bahadur KC informed that Radio Nepal launched the new and upgraded versions in line with its growing national and international audiences.

ED KC also said the new versions were suitable for both desktop computers and cellular devices. 

Radio Nepal’s central and provincial radio programs can be listened live on all of the websites.

The Committee has informed that the archives have been arranged in such a way that they can be accessed from all over the world.
