Newly appointed province chiefs administered oath of office

May 3, Kathmandu: President Bidya Devi Bhadari has administered the oath of office and secrecy to newly appointed Gandaki Province Chief Sita Kumari Paudel and Sudurpaschim Province Chief Ganga Prasad Yadav.

Issuing a statement on Monday, Spokesperson of the Office of the President Rupnarayan Bhattarai informed that President Bhandari administered the oath of office and secretary to province chiefs Paudel and Yadav.

President Bhandari had appointed Paudel and Yadav as province chiefs on the recommendation of cabinet.

Earlier on Monday, President Bhadari had relieved Gandaki Province Chief Amik Serchan and Sudurpaschim Province Chief Sarmila Kumari Panta from their posts on the recommendation of the cabinet.
