Election Commission approves the by-election program

April26, Kathmandu: The Election Commission has approved the by-election program for the election of the National Assembly Member in Bagmati Province set for 20^th of May.

The commission has set 4^th May for publishing voters list, May 5^th and 6^th as days for evaluating the complaints on voters’ list.

Likewise, May 7^th has been set as the day for nomination and 8^th may for registering complaints against the nominations. 9^th and 10^th may has been set for evaluating complaints against the nominated person and publish the nomination list on 10^th of May.

The nominated person could withdraw their names on 11^th May and the Commission will publish the final nomination list and provide election symbol on 12^th of May.
