Agreement on sending Nepali workers to Israel to be implemented soon

April 23, Kathmandu: Minister for Labour, Employment, and Social Security Gauri Shankar Chaudhary on Friday met Israeli Ambassador to Nepal Hanan Goder to discuss the implementation of the agreement on recruiting Nepali workers.

During the meeting held at Singha Durbar, the duo stressed moving ahead with the agreement on recruiting Nepali nationals as auxiliary workers for working as caregivers in Israeli Institutions.

“We will start implementing the agreement on sending the caregivers to Israel as soon as possible,” Ambassador Goder said after the meeting.

Nepal and Israel have signed an implementation protocol for implementing the prior agreement on recruiting and sending 500 Nepali workers as caregivers to different Israeli Institutions via the Government to Government (G to G) process.
