CPN-UML suspends leaders Bhusal and Pandey for six months from party membership

April 1, Kathamndu: CPN-UML Chairperson and Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has suspended leaders Ghana Shyam Bhusal and Surendra Pandey for six months from the party membership

Issuing a press release on Thursday, the CPN-UML has informed that leaders Bhusal and Pandey were suspended due to their involvement in factional activities and other activities weakening the party.

It further reads that the leaders did not confess their mistakes and their clarifications were not found satisfactory. The suspension letter has mentioned that this is the last chance for the leaders to correct themselves.

The party has already suspended senior leader Madhav Kumar Nepal and vice-chair Bhim Rawal from the party’s membership for six months.
