Agriculture Ministry authorized to procure 50k metric tons of Urea : Council of Ministers
Kathmandu- The Government of Nepal (GoN) has decided to authorize the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock Development to procure Urea fertilizer from Government to Government G2G process.
Speaking at a press meet on organized on Wednesday to make public the decisions of the meetings of the cabinet held recently, Government Spokesperson Parbat Gurung shared that the Ministry had been authorized to procure 50,000 metric tons of Urea.
The GoN also decided to accept the concessional loan of 40 million USD and 10 million USD in grant assistance from the Asian Development Bank for the River Basing Flood Risk Management Project, and 80 million USD from the World Bank for the Rural Entrepreneurship and Economic Development Project.
Likewise, the cabinet decided to extend the term of the National Reconstruction Authority by a year. A decision was taken to waive penalty in the delay in renewal of vehicle pass and road permit.
Minister for Communications and Information Technology Gurung shared that the GoN would run the child correction centres from the current fiscal year onwards.
