NCP Standing Committee to deliberate party chairmen’s proposals

Kathmandu- The secretariat meeting of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) has decided to transfer the responsibility of resolving intraparty disputes to the Standing Committee.

Party Spokesperson Narayan Kaji Shrestha said the secretariat meeting held at Baluwatar on Saturday decided to forward the proposals of both chairpersons to the standing committee meeting set for Sunday.

Prior to the secretariat meeting on Saturday, party chair and P.M. KP Sharma Oli and another Chair Puspa Kamal Dahal had held a discusses in a bid to resolve the disputes.

Spokesperson Shrestha said for dispute resolution, secretariat members and party chairs would continue formal and informal discussions.
