Phalgunanda Jyanati today : Prez. gives best wishes

Kathmandu: President Bidya Devi Bhandari has extended best wishes to the Kirant community at home and abroad on the occasion of Phalgunanda Jayanti.

She has also wished them happiness, peace, prosperity and good health.

In a message on Tuesday, the President has called Phalgunanda a great religious and social reformer, who was also an efficient economist to make practical economic policies for the society.

Kartik 25 as per the Nepali calendar is observed as the birth anniversary of Phalgunanda especially by people from the Kirant community.
