Cabinet recommends Gautam to National Assembly

Kathmandu: The meeting of Council of Ministers on Monday decided to recommend the name of Nepal Communist Party’s (NCP) Vice-Chairman  Bamdev Gautam to the National Assembly (NA).

The meeting that was held at the Prime Minister’s residence at Baluwatar decided to recommend President Bidya Devi Bhandari for appointing Gautam as a member of the National Assembly.

The berth was lying vacant after government spokesperson and Minister for Finance and Minister for Information and Communication Technology Dr Yubaraj Khatiwada’s NA term ended six months ago.

Similarly, Minister for Land Management, Cooperatives and Poverty Alleviation, Padma Kumari Aryal shared the government also decided to resume the vehicles for long routes vehicles and domestic flights beginning September 21, by following the health protocols.
