Ministry urges schools not to organize annual celebrations, gatherings considering risk of Coronavirus

The Ministry of Education, Science and Technology have urged schools in the country to not organize annual celebrations, gatherings and parents meet.

The request has been made as a precaution in consideration of the increased risk of infection of Coronavirus, said the Ministry spokesperson Dipak Sharma.

Accordingly, the Ministry has also asked the school management to complete the annual examinations from Grade 1 to 9 by March 18. The Secondary Education Examinations for Grade 10 has already been scheduled to start from coming March 19.
