Chinese visa service center comes into operation in Kathmandu

The Chinese Embassy in Nepal has brought Chinese Visa Application Centre into operation in Kathmandu in order to make the visa services timely and convenient.

Inaugurating the Visa Application Centre at Durbarmarg based Rising Mall in Kathmandu on Monday, Director of the Centre Zhang Jiyong said the number of Nepalis visiting China had drastically increased after the visit of Chinese President Xi Jin Ping last October and centre was brought into operation in a bid to address the high volume of visa applications.

According to the Chinese Embassy in Nepal, the visa applications can be submitted between 9 am to 3 P.M. and they can be collected between 9 to 4 P.M.

The centre will open from Monday to Friday excluding holidays.
