Community schools have become like sick industries

Minister for Education, Science and Technology Giriraj Mani Pokharel has said that he had found the community schools of the country like the sick industries. Of the 35,000 schools, 29,000 are community schools but they are like sick industries.

Inaugurating a technical school in Barmajhiya of Ganeshman Charnath municipality-9 on Saturday, he said that the teachers are more responsible for improving the situation of the community school. The education minister also shared that the election service commission would soon be providing teachers in community schools.

The technical school has been established in the Sri Secondary School in memory of martyr Rambriksha Yadav. The school will begin classes in agro crop science from the coming fiscal year, according to headteacher Rajendra Yadav.

The Ministry of Education, Science and Technology have provided financial support of Rs. 2 million for the technical school.
