National Assembly has endorsed the Prison Bill 2022

Kathmandu: The National Assembly has endorsed the Prison Bill 2022.

The session unanimously passed the Bill received from the House of Representatives with a message.

The Bill was presented by Home Minister Bal Krishna Khand before the upper house for approval.

During deliberations on the bill lawmakers drew the government’s attention towards the construction of infrastructure and management of human resources to see improvement in prison.

The National Assembly also approved the proposal seeking consideration on the Public Debt Management Bill, 2019. The bill was sent to the upper house from the House of Representatives along with a message.
