Cabinet accepts about Rs. 17 billion concessional loans for Digital Nepal Acceleration Project

Kathmandu: Nepal government has decided to accept about 17 billion rupees concessional loans from the World Bank and other donors for Digital Nepal Acceleration Project.

Government Spokesperson and Communication Minister Gyanendra Bahadur Karki said so while unveiling the recent cabinet meeting decision amidst a press briefing at Singh Durbar on Tuesday.  

The cabinet meeting also decided to appoint Krishi Samagri Company to complete the remaining procedure of fertilizer procurement from India through the G to G model.

Likewise, the government has approved 6 hundred 63 temporary posts to induct employees for various projects under different ministries.

Communication Minister Karki said 4 hundred and 31 officer-level temporary posts under the Energy ministry and 105 posts under Education Ministry have been approved.

Likewise, the cabinet has approved 30 temporary Posts under Industry Ministry, 50 posts under the agriculture ministry, and 47 posts under Forest and Environment ministry.

Minister Karki said the temporary vacancies would get annulled after the completion of the project.
