Darchula jeep accident kills five people and injures 9 others

Darchula: At least five people have been killed while nine others have been injured in a jeep accident at Ullani in Shailyashikar Municipality-6 of Darchula.

The condition of two of the injured is reported to be critical.

The Darchula district police informed that the ill-fated jeep was heading to the district headquarters Khalanga from Gokuleshor.

Information Officer at Darchula District Police Office Inspector Jagat Gaahaa Magar said the injured had been taken to the Gokuleshor hospital for treatment. The details of the accident are still to come.
