Earthquake with epicenter in Khotang

July 31, Kathmandu: An earthquake measuring 6.0 in the Richter scale has occurred at 8:13 am with its epicenter at Martimbirta of Sakela Rural Municipality in Khotang district.

According to National Seismology and Research Center, the jolt of the earthquake was felt clearly in Kathmandu valley as well. Reports about any damage caused by the earthquake are yet to be received.
