Russian energy company announces massive cut in gas exports to the European Union

July 26, Kathmandu: Russian energy company Gazprom has announced a massive cut in gas exports to the European Union.
Energy company Gazprom has said that the reason for the cut is to repair the pipeline.
According to Gazprom, closing the “Nord Stream 1” pipeline will reduce gas exports to the European Union by as much as 20 per cent.
The German government has said gas exports were reduced for no apparent reason.
