Women should continue their struggle for ensuring their rights: Minister Bhusal

July 24, Kathmandu: Minister for Energy Pampha Bhusal has said women should still wage a struggle to acquire their rights.

Releasing a fiction ‘Chhori’ (Daughter) written by student leader Manisha Acharya on Sunday, Minister Bhusal argued that the fight to implement the legal rights ensured to the women was not over yet.

She stated that though women’s right to property was achieved legally, it was not fully implemented.

On the occasion, Minister Bhusal recalled her stories of defiance from her student life to her political career.
