Russian military operation not limited only to Ukraine’s eastern region: Russian Foreign Minister

 July 21, Kathmandu: Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has said that the military operations of the Russian army will not be limited to the eastern part of Ukraine. 

In an interview given to the Russian state media, Foreign Minister Lavrov said Russia had to change its strategy after the Western countries provided long-range missiles to Ukraine, according to the BBC.

Foreign Minister Lavrov said that Russia was now forced to push the Ukrainian army back even from the eastern frontiers, for Russia’s own security. 

Meanwhile, the US has decided to provide more long-range missiles to Ukraine.
